With societal and environmental issues increasingly becoming a concern, it comes down to all stakeholders to improve business practices.
As an active member of society, Innopia takes it’s responsibility
seriously and is increasingly focusing it’s efforts on improving its processes, policies and product design to go above and beyond environmental requirements.

Carbon footprint
In 2020, Innopia has decided to set a target of 50% reduction in
CO2 emissions by year 2025. This includes direct and indirect
CO2 emissions, and will be achieved though improvements of
our products and processes.
Innopia is also in the process of the Carbon Disclosure Project
(CDP) in the purpose of disclosing the impact of our production
on climate change.

Innopia is ISO-14001 environmental management systems certified,
TL-9000 and ISO-9001 quality control certified.
Innopia also only works with EMS partners that comply with the quality, environmental and health certifications (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001)

At Innopia, we actively manage and improve year after year our corporate social responsibility policies, constantly setting new goals for improving internal and external processes.
We have obtained the EcoVadis Silver medal, with a score ranking our company within the 9% best scoring companies on the CSR auditing platform.

Eco-designing our products
A key part of carbon emission reduction happens on the drawing board. Innopia focuses on process simplification, saving raw materials, water and electricity.
We also focus on minimizing the number of parts, using recycled materials and innovating by offering options such as battery-free RCUs.

Product Life Cycle Assessment (LCA)
Innopia conducts Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) for it’s products following ISO 14040-44 standards. The aim is to study the cradle-to-grave environmental impact of our products. The report includes upstream, manufacturing, distribution, use and end-of-life stages.
