IoT multi-protocol SW
Flexible and full of possibilities
-
Current IoT packages are often unflexible and offer consumers
only limited customization. Also, the service is usually linked to
the Internet Service Provider, meaning that the IoT setup will
need to be changed too. With our Smart Home Bridge solution, various international
communication protocols can be used. They operate totally
independently from the network connection, providing more
flexibility and a higher level of customization.

Multi-protocol bridge solution
Innopia provides a Smart Home solution compatible with the OCF
(Open Connectivity Foundation) open IoT standard. The OCF provides
standards and guidelines, promoting interoperability in the IoT space.
We havedeveloped a unique device virtualization technology,
which delivers a future proof IoT Gatway for smart home services
interworking not only with Wi-Fi devices, but also with other wireless
communication protocols such as ZigBee and Z-Wave. Furthermore,
we have contributed our Home Device Bridge (HDB) protocol standard
to the Linux foundation as one of the global open source projects.
Through our multi-protocol platform, a wide diversity of devices and sensors
can be used, regardless of OS. This opens the path for dynamic user scenarios.
Back-end service integration.
A case study.
Our IoT solution provides interactivity with the operator's back-end platform, which has been deployed on IoT products
launched on the ultra-competitive and early adopting Korean market for IoT services

Magic Mirror
The camera integrated "Magic Mirror", launched for a major telecommunication
operator in South Korea, an example for back-end server interactivity,
works as an IoT hub for skin care recommendation service over LTE.

Air Doctor
Our air monitoring device, which was developed for the largest Korean telecomcmunication operator, sends notifications to users’ smartphones over the wireless network. It measures temperature, humidity, CO2, fine dust and VOC levels. It is designed to work with autonomous home control services such as air purifiers and air conditioners through the IoT platform.
We developed the Air Doctor and the Magic Mirror for two of the leading service providers in South Korea
